Sample inspector narratives
Upon arrival to the daycare a child in care was observed alone in the daycare while the other children and caregivers were outside.
A 9-month-old infant was left unsupervised in the living room of the home when the caregiver supervising the infant, left the living room area and joined the director in the main room where the rest of the children present were being cared for.
The director supervising the children did not know how many children were in the group. When asked for the number of children present, the director stated there were 6, however, there were 8 children in care.
